Adding new value to living spaces
through the power of trees

We scientifically examine the functions and properties of wood and greenery
and their effects on the minds and bodies of people to create comfortable spaces.
We also use AI and authentication technology to evaluate measurement data.

Visualizing senses with cognitive science for use in space creation

In the field of cognitive science, the effects of wood and green environments on human senses are quantified in an easy to understand manner. We aim to create spaces that are useful for improving intellectual productivity, promoting health and reducing stress.

Examining the effects of light, wind and heat on people

Our artificial climate room can reproduce various conditions of wind, light, temperature, humidity, etc. and verify the effect on people using a thermal manikin. This is reflected in Sumitomo Forestry's Ryouonbou design. The image shows a wind sensitivity evaluation experiment.

Hagukumi gardens that incorporating the effects of greenery

Using the results of research on greenery, we propose hagukumi gardens that incorporates ideas to foster children's curiosity and creativity and encourage the growth of the body as well as the creation of gardens for elderly people.

Expanding the value of wood and greenery to offices and facilities

We are also beginning to expand our knowledge of living environments utilizing wood and greenery to offices and facilities. We are also working on evaluation the value from incorporating the effects of wood into offices and commercial facilities.
